I had an amazing opportunity this past Thursday! Fashion for a New Life put on a charity Fashion Show raising money for abused woman and children. It was an amazing event and by the end of the night over $6,000 was raised! So blessed to have been able to been apart of this amazing night. I had incredible models and the directors of the event Kristianne Young and Jewel Byrd did an outstanding job!

So thankful!

Ohhh how I'm ready for spring! Can you tell? I got these marvelous fuschia high waisted pants while in Vegas at Urban Outfitters. They were $109 on sale for $9.99!!!! It was a STEAL! My stomach did cartwheels when I saw the price tag! My jacket [F21] was thrifted. I believe I got it for $4. My torquise necklace is F21/$11. Last but not least is my cheetahlicious shoesies. They are now sold at kohls for $30!

It's A Girls Night

Don't you just love a good girls night?! 

Well, I sure do! Just had an amazing night on the town with my sister and my dearest friend, Hannah. We started the night off by blasting Adele in the car and sang at the top of our lungs till we arrived at RA Sushi. Mmmm mm mm! I can't even describe to you how much I adore and crave sushi.... "MMM!", Is all I can say! I had the tootsie maki {which if you haven't tried your missing out!} After dinner we went to the Four Seasons {which was an adventure to get to} to see a band play. When we arrived it was over but had marvelous chit chat and then set off for home... Which involved another jam sesh to Adele ;)

{VEGAS}

Vegas! Ah! It was sooo amazing! I can't post pictures of the shoot yet due to the fact that we aren't allowed to yet till the magazine comes out but it was so so fun and I learned SO much! It was awesome being an environment where people understood exactly your desire for your passion!

But this trip was like a vacation as well! I traveled to Vegas with my good friend and had the honor of meeting his familia (Whom I absolutely loved). I shopped till I dropped with my cousin and got to spend time with my uncle as well. It was an over all amazing trip!!!

So! I'm obsessed with torquise right now. Like love the color & the indie/boho feel it has when put on. I paired my jingley torqoise necklace with a long sleeve tan tee, black maxi, nine west studded black gladiators, a blingin bracelet from Ross, and a gold watch ($15.00) from Charming Charlie... It's a cuff so one size truly fits all.

Inspiration Nation

I don't know about you but I LOVE more than anything to be inspired. Whenever, I get inspired I feel it's almost the equivalent to what a football player feels like before a game. HONESTLY! I get pumped people... And when I get pumped I get creative and start creating, redesigning and/or eating (lol) thinking about what I should make/create/style/ etc. SO to get YOU inspired I'm posting a couple links of sites that just get my blood pumping as well as some fun outfit pics...... Because who doesn't love some outfit inspiration?!?!? Yup. That's what I thought ;)

Girls Day .

Today my lovely sister, Megan & I are having a girls day in Tempe. Being that we are complete thrifters are adventure will begin at Sunset Exchange, then to Buffalo Exchange, then we shall feast and walk along the urban streets of Mill Ave. Don't think my day can get any better? Oh it shall! Coffee date with my dear friend, Christina and then off to Regeneration!!! The young adult service at my amazing church, Phoenix First Assembly in Phx! WooHoo!

Hello blessed people,

 

Well, to inform you a bit... I got my wisdom teeth pulled on Friday. Therefore, I have been slacking with my new blog. My apology's! However, today is a new day, I'm feeling better, and since I have been wearing mostly comfy/cozy attire, I have decided to post some of the very things I'm fashionably obsessed with at the moment. I will be posting outfits, shoes, and makeup looks. Most of the pictures will either come from Pinterest (which is my obsession) and Tumblr. I have decided to keep up with these kinds of postings once a week to get you all inspired and also to see what I love! ;)

 This is actually I styled for a photo-shoot, but I'm still obsessed with the polka dots, grey, and pink blend. The entire outfit was styled from Pink House

Ok.. So Kim K.'s outfit, simple and cute. But her SHOES! I'm obsessed. I just recently got a pair of black  lace-up booties and they have changed my life ;)

So last but not least... Eye Gear! I have been obsessed with the cat eye since I came out of the womb. But what I love about this photo is that there are options. Thick, long, etc! Try it!

Winter is NOT over.

Well. It was 75 degrees here in Phoenix and I am personally not ready for winter to end. I still have cute winter clothes to style into fab outfits! So I acted out and rebelled today. Mhmmm. With my newly thrifted sweater and grey Forever 21 scarf. Not to mention my newest obsessions... My tealish/green rock ring from h & m and my black lace up booties that I got for 10% off at Fashion Q (hey! a deals a deal)  ;D No worries... I will post a better picture of them soon! Oh... Purse you ask? Vintage Dooney & Bourke... This was actually given to me by someone who came in our store :) -Blessings

Father/Daughter Fiesta

Being that Monday was a day off, I was looking forward to sleeping in. However, my adventurous pops had other plans. Knock Knock, Sarrraaaahhhhhhh... Was what I woke up to. I was super duper oober excited when my dad had invited me to a Father/Daughter day with him... I decided on a sporty look being that I was in one of my "Cozy/Comfy Outfit Mood"..... Off to the Fiesta Bowl we went!

It was an INCREDIBLE game! The game went into overtime and OSU came out with the win! That wasn't the only exciting thing at the game, however. As you stay updated with my blog you'll notice how much I am in love with food. WELL, at the game they had these amazing cinnamon sugared coated almonds/pecans. Let me tell you friends, they were to DIE for! The whiff of the aroma made you weak in the knee. Mmmm mmm mmm!  They were amazing to say the least :) What a lovely day I had with my father.

Brought in the New Year with some mumford & sons on the way to Modified Arts (Art Gallery: Event Location), amazing friends, and ofcourse... A lesson... in DJ'ing! Yes friends, I can say I was on the 1's AND 2's last night! ;)
Oh & did I mention I wore a skirt as a dress lastnight... Mhmmm. Got a little trixy on ya!

In The Beginning...

Well hello there,

This right here would be my very first post on Blogger. Which I am thrilled about!
I made a couple New Years resolutions this past December, and one of them was to create and maintain a blog. So here I am! I am believing God to rock my socks in 2012 and I can't wait to blog all about it.

Some things to look forward to:
